Some time has passed since my daughter Mary’s wedding reception which was held at your Watson Rd. location on April 15, 2011. I wanted to respond sooner but it seems like it has taken this long for things to settle down and allow my wife Elise and me to take a breath.
I want to say more than the response card has room for because nothing could have been more perfect than the evening that was presented by you and your staff. The food was great, the room looked great and we received more compliments from our guest than Elise and I could count.
I have attended wedding receptions at the Watson location in the past and always thought, just as our guests did, that everything was very nice. Until I was actually involved in planning a reception did I realize how professional everything is at an Orlando’s establishment. You made everything very easy and were more than willing to accommodate our specific requests. The staff on duty that night, the food servers, bartenders, and clean up crew were courteous and pleasant in every aspect of their work. My 90 year old mother-in-law uses a walker to get around and one kind staff member walked through the food line with her to assist with placing the food on her plate and carrying the plate to her table.
All are commended. Everyone gave Mary and Brian the party of a lifetime. Please know that if my wife and I are ever in need of a facility for celebration, party or gathering, Orlando’s will be the place of choice. I will contact you personally to make the arrangements. Again, thank you very much for a job well done.

John, my parents, and I just wanted to extend to you and your staff our sincere thanks for our beautiful wedding reception. From the first evening that we reserved Orlando’s with Sylva a year ago, to our meetings and phone calls over the next few months with the two of you, to the tasting, and finally the reception itself, you were all a pleasure to work with. You made this a very stress-free event!
We have gotten so many compliments from our guests and we agree that this is the best wedding reception we’ve ever been to (and not just because it was ours)! The food was absolutely delicious (love that chicken spedini and cavatelli broccoli), the atmosphere so elegant, and every one of your staff members so friendly and helpful. Sandy, the banquet manager, was great – she was patient with us when we arrived behind schedule, and then when we took awhile to get the wedding party sorted out to enter! She emceed our numerous toasts wonderfully and kept everything moving ( I thing she was better than the DJ!) . She and the staff also made sure that we got back all of the things we brought with us – cake knife, champagne glasses, votives and vases, etc. Mike (Orlando) was also there and made sure that we were happy throughout the evening.
We had a great time and could not be happier with the way everything turned out. I had never been to a reception at Orlando’s before, but I hope I get the opportunity to in the future, because it is truly one of the best reception sites in St. Louis. Thanks again for an outstanding job.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks for the wonderful experience you provided us at our wedding reception. Josh and I had an afternoon reception in the Venice Ballrooms and it was perfect! I must tell you, normally I loathe buffets, but I was blown away! The food was fabulous! Josh said the beef and chicken were very flavorful. I loved the potatoes and the pasta and the veggie combo and the salad ? basically everything I tasted! However do you keep such large amounts of food so fresh? I cannot even tell you how much I appreciate you putting out all my favors and candles ? at no charge! I apologize that I don?t remember anyone?s name to thank them specifically, except Rich (but we have his business card). He really helped us out with dropping off our favors the days before our wedding. But everyone we dealt with was helpful, professional and friendly! Oh, back to the food. Our buffet was much better than the meal we had one week prior at ______! We also had several friends comment on the bartender. They said he not only made good drinks, but tat he was very attentive and fast. Our room manager was also great. She kept and eye on me and informed me of everything I needed to know. Afterwards, she had the cake table tidied up before I could even blink! All of the servers too panache! Not that you need them, but if anyone ever wants a reference ? we would highly recommend your facility to anyone!
