Kemp Auto Museum Menus

Whatever your vision, the Kemp Auto Museum’s 17,000 square-foot gallery offers a simply amazing atmosphere in which to host the event of your dreams.  Accommodating up to 800 guests for a seated dinner, the automobiles in the main gallery can be arranged to reflect the design of your celebration.  For more intimate gatherings of less than 100, portions of the gallery may be sectioned off so that the guests may still appreciate the collection.  The fully equipped gallery can accommodate all of your event’s technological needs as well, including integrated audio and video. 

In addition to the main gallery space, the Kemp Auto Museum offers ancillary spaces for the breakout meetings, gathering rooms, or the perfect location for newlyweds to steal a moment alone before joining friends and family.

Saint Louis Science Center/Planetarium

For a unique corporate event, Bar/Bat mitzvah, wedding or any other private event, the Saint Louis Science Center is the place to be. Your guests can enjoy more than 700 hands-on exhibits, innovative live science presentations, the OMNIMAX Theater, Boeing Space Station and more! The Science Center is a dramatic three-building, world-class facility with a total of 260,000 square feet, making it one of the largest science centers in the world.

The buildings sit on opposite sides of Highway 40 and are connected by a unique lighted bridge and underground flight gallery. Events can be held “under the stars” in the James S. McDonnell Planetarium or literally over the highway as guests enjoy dinner on the Bridge spanning Highway 40.

Located in Union, Missouri, the heart of Franklin County. Union has a rich cultural history just 30 minutes from West St. Louis County. You will experience a delightful atmosphere around a large fireplace set in the spacious lobby. The landscaped Garden Courtyard offers a beautiful fountain and bell tour as accents to this beautiful outdoor space, perfect for cocktail and hors d’oeuvres before dinner or an elegant setting for a wedding ceremony.

The Grand Prairie ballroom offers an elegant atmosphere for any special occasion. The ballroom is perfect for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and bridal showers. Corporate guests enjoy all the electronic amenities and internet connections that will make meetings a success. The Cedarwalk and Oakbriar rooms seat up to 150 guests each. The Grand Prairie Ballroom will seat up to 500 attendees comfortably.

The Foundry Art Centre

Located alongside the Missouri River and Katy Trail in downtown St. Charles, the Foundry Art Centre is a place where artists can work, sell and exhibit their work.  The beautifully redesigned interior of the old Foundry, where railroad cars were once produced, is a new cultural center for the St. Charles/St. Louis area featuring national, international and regional art.  Add flowers, music and our delicious food and the Foundry becomes a picturesque backdrop for your special event.  Punctuate with art for a special evening everyone will remember.

World’s Fair Pavilion

Sitting high atop Government Hill, the World’s Fair Pavilion commands a dramatic view of Forest Park.  This magnificent open air shelter has been one of the park’s most popular and impressive attractions since it was built in 1909 with proceeds left over from the 1904 World’s Fair.  In 1998, Forest Park Forever renovated the Pavilion.  The Pavilion provides a picturesque setting for company picnics,  private receptions, benefits, special events or parties.  The covered floor area of the open air pavilion can easily seat approximately 500 people.

This St. Louis Landmark is on the National Register of Historic Places.  This charming Art Deco designed green house is available for special events.  It’s majestic 50 feet high ceiling makes for an elegant setting for any event.  Permanent floral installations are enhanced on a seasonal  basis with flowing plants from the City’s green houses.  The Jewel Box can seat up to 160 for a seated dinner or 250 for a cocktail reception.

 The Mahler Ballroom

Designed by Theodore Link and built in 1907 as a ballroom and a residence for the Jacob Mahler Family.  This elegant Victorian style building has many of the original features preserved, including a 24′ height ceiling with an ornate balcony surrounding all sides.  The rock maple floor is wonderful for dancing and 17 Austrian crystal chandeliers illuminate the room.  The 4000 square foot facility seats up to 300 guests for a seated event (including balcony seating).

Since the 1890’s, the building that currently houses Preservation Hall, has served as a meeting hall, a school, and theater. The renovation of Soulard Preservation Hall, reconnects this important building to its’ historic surroundings in the Soulard neighborhood. With its beautiful hard wood floors and exposed brick Soulard Preservation Hall can accommodate small meetings of 10 to large seated dinners for 200 and theatre seating for up to 350.

The St. Louis Carousel, with its more than 60 hand carved horses and deer, was built in 1920 by the Dentzel Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Originally located at the Forest Park Highlands on Oakland Avenue, St. Louis County and the Faust Cultural Heritage Foundation restored the Carousel in 1987, and placed it in a climate controlled facility to insure its preservation.  Its current home includes space for special events.  How much fun is it to include a fully functioning Carousel at your special event!

The Roberts Orpheum Theater

The Roberts Orpheum Theater (formerly The Historic American Theater) is a first class venue for concerts and performing arts, as well as for private events of all kinds.  The Theater provides a dramatic flair that sets your event apart from all others. This first class facility has been entirely renovated and completely outfitted with quality furnishings and top of the line equipment. The new lobby, restrooms, bar areas, and auditorium offer elegant style to complement any event.

The Orchestra level of the auditorium has three tiered sections that can accommodate:
. up to 300 people for a seated dinner;
. up to 500 people seated theater style
. up to 1,000 people standing.
Additionally, the stage (40 feet wide by 30 feet deep) can be used for seating guests, buffet or bar areas, a bandstand, dancing, etc., offering extra space to utilize.

 Casa Loma Ballroom

Built in the 1920′s this unique ballroom brings back the days of the Big Bands.  It has one of the largest true wood dance floors still available in St. Louis, along with a dramatic 2nd story balcony.  This nostalgic facility seats events of up to 1000 guests.

Located in the heart of St. Louis is a community access glassblowing studio.  The Third Degree offers its facility for special events in which guests can witness glass blowing and even participate in creating works of art themselves.  Seating up to 300 guests for events.

The Thaxton

The Thaxton

The Moto Museum

Nestled among beautiful mature trees in Shrewsbury just off Laclede Station Road is the historic former Kenrick Seminary. On the lower level of this beautiful building is the Fleur delis room of the Cardinal Rigali Center. This room which will accommodate up to 300 guests for a seated dinner was recently renovated and has all the charm of a beautiful hotel ballroom. With beautiful terrazzo floors, stained glass windows and high ceilings this facility will be an ideal location for your next special event. Facility offers round tables and padded banquet chairs.

The Old Courthouse

The Old Courthouse was built in the early 1800s and served as both judicial and civil offices until 1930. The majestic rotunda, located at the center of the Old Courthouse, was restored from 1981 through 1986 and is a beautiful place for a private event. The rotunda and second-level balcony are suitable for 100 guests for a sit-down dinner and 200 guests for a stand-up reception.

In the heart of the historic Grand Center Entertainment district the Centene Center for the Arts building is the home of the glamorous Rialto Ballroom. This enchanted ballroom makes for a unique venue for special events, with its glass atrium and roof top deck that over looks downtown St. Louis. This nostalgic building was originally constructed in the 1880’s as a Ballet Academy for young girls. With it’s new millennium touches this magnificent ballroom will accommodate seated dinners for up to 300 guests and standup cocktail receptions for as many as 500.

 

 Grandel Theatre

Built as a limestone Congregational Church in the Romanesque revival style in 1884, the Theatre was renovated in 1992. It is located in the Grand Center arts, entertainment and education district of St. Louis. Its main spaces include a 470 seat (320 on the orchestra level; 150 in the balcony) theatre auditorium, the Grand Hall and large lobby area. The 26-foot vaulted ceiling and 12-foot arched leaded glass window make the Grand Hall beautiful day or evening. It can accommodate approximately 150 for a seated meal or 225 for a reception. The lobby will hold up to 180 people for a reception and 80-100 for a sit down event.

The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum, is a fun and innovative place that is sure to make your wedding reception a magical one. They can accommodate parties with their 25,000 square foot facility. The Special Events room will accommodate up to 180 people for a sit-down dinner, and around 600 guests can enjoy the Special Events room, exhibit areas and beautiful Victorian Garden. The Magic House offers a creative, unique environment for family reunions, casual parties, elegant sit-down dinners, school family nights, bar/bat mitzvahs and corporate functions.

Located on the historic St. Louis Riverfront stands the Gateway Arch, an engineering marvel that towers 630 feet in the sky over downtown St. Louis and the Mighty Mississippi River. As a symbol of the Gateway to Westward Expansion the gateway Arch is part of our National Parks System. The Arch may be rented as an event venue with a special use permit. The area under the Arch has a museum, gift shop and a fountain in the middle. This unique venue holds approximately 850 people for a stand-up reception and 300 for a sit-down reception with a band, a dance floor and a bar. Tram rides to the top of the Arch are available at an additional charge.

The Lodge at Grant’s Trail

Situated on Grant’s Trail, a biking and walking recreational trail is the magnificent Lodge at Grant’s Trail. Completed in 2000, the Lodge offers a rustic mountain lodge atmosphere while providing elegance in dining which is simply outstanding. The lodge also boasts 8 themed bedrooms all with private baths and fireplaces. Simply one of the most unique new event venues to come to St. Louis. The lodge accommodates approximately 75 people sit-down style (or 110 utilizing the new “Garden” room) and 150 for a cocktail reception with larger groups possible using the beautiful patio and back yard area.

This architectural masterpiece features a white marble rotunda, about 100 feet square, with a colored glass skylight above and a marble grand staircase opposite the main entrance.  Built in 1896 this government center offers the magnificent rotunda to St. Louis citizens for special events during its off hours.

The City of Fenton, located between Highway 270 and Six Flags over Mid-America on Interstate 44, boasts one of the finest recreational facilities in the St. Louis area. Riverchase of Fenton has an Olympic size competition swimming pool, an outdoor water park, an indoor water park with lap pool, indoor running track, weight training facility, indoor basketball and volleyball courts and approximately 4000 square feet of meeting and banquet space. The gymnasium can also be used for large events and can seat 700 to 1000 people.
